From the neighborhood
“Teanna is a magician in shaping up my look. She even finds ways to hide my growing bald spot!”
“Enzo is a great barber, I can't recommend this place enough. Very nice, easy to talk to and an A+ haircut. I was looking for a new barber and I finally found one!”
“Great service and professionalism. Always meant to try them out and now that I have I'll be going back! Also great to support the Altadena community after the fires.”
“I lucked into finding Enzo a few years ago, and still come back to get my hair cut every month even though I now live across town. He is a great barber and all around good guy.”

Since the new deal
High Stakes is a traditional men's barbershop at 1868 N Allen Ave, on the line between Pasadena and Altadena.
New owners took the room and kept the bargain simple: a good chair, a straight cut, and a hot towel. Fades, scissor work, long hair, kids, seniors. No salon menu.
After the Eaton Fire, the shop stayed open for this neighborhood. Altadena and Pasadena still pull up a chair. That's the whole idea.
